Key Responsibilities of the Sterile Processing Technician

Assist in the decontamination, assembly, and sterilization of surgical instruments
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards
Perform routine inspections of sterilization processes
Maintain accurate records of sterilization and inventory
Collaborate with surgical team and other healthcare professionals

Requirements of the Sterile Processing Technician

Valid certification as a Sterile Processing Technician
Previous experience in sterile processing preferred
Knowledge of sterilization procedures and infection control
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to work flexible shifts.
