Mechanical Engineer III

Snapshot / Role Overview
We're seeking a Mechanical Engineer III in Sacramento, CA to support and grow commercial mechanical operations across the region.

Impact

Engineer HVAC and piping systems that perform reliably and efficiently.

Support project teams from concept through closeout.

Develop standards that scale across the office.

Mentor junior engineers and designers.

Responsibilities

Lead HVAC and piping design on commercial projects.

Perform energy modeling, load calcs, and equipment selections.

Develop drawings, specs, and submittal packages.

Coordinate with architects, GCs, and trade partners.

Review and stamp design documents as required.

Support commissioning, startup, and warranty.

Mentor engineers and designers.

Drive continuous improvement of engineering standards.

Requirements

Must-Haves

7+ years of mechanical engineering for commercial buildings.

Revit MEP and load calc software proficiency.

Strong knowledge of ASHRAE, IMC, and energy codes.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.

Nice-to-Haves

PE in mechanical engineering.

LEED AP BD+C.

Healthcare, mission-critical, or life science experience.
