Job Title : Linux Admin
Job Location : Irvine, CA - Onsite
Job Type : Fulltime
Salary : 110K - 130K/Annum + Benefits.


Must Have Technical/Functional Skills
Strong hands-on experience administering Unix/Linux systems, primarily RHEL 7, RHEL 8 and RHEL 9.
• In-depth knowledge of Linux OS installation, configuration, patching, upgrades and lifecycle management.
• Proven experience in OS hardening, security baselines, user management and access controls.
• Experience supporting enterprise applications running on Java and .NET platforms.
• Exposure to Data Center Exit or on-premises to public cloud migration programs.
• Good understanding of system performance tuning, troubleshooting and capacity planning.
• Knowledge of scripting (Shell, Bash) for automation and operational efficiency.
• Ability to work with database, middleware (TIBCO) and infrastructure teams.


7+ years of overall Unix/Linux administration experience with at least 2-3 years on AWS.
• Hands-on experience running Linux workloads on AWS EC2.
• Understanding of AWS services such as EC2, EBS, VPC, IAM and CloudWatch.
• Experience supporting hybrid environments during transition from on-premises to cloud.
• Familiarity with automation, Infrastructure as Code or configuration management tools is an advantage.
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines impacting OS-level operations.
• Experience working in large, mission-critical enterprise migration programs.
• AWS or Linux certifications are preferred.
