The Clinical Informaticist – EHR Lead provides organizational leadership for clinical information systems, serving as the primary owner of EHR functionality, clinical data management, reporting, and workflow optimization. This position partners with executive, operational, and clinical leaders to align technology solutions with business objectives, regulatory requirements, and patient care standards. The role is responsible for system configuration, implementation, end-user support, training, analytics, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance clinical effectiveness, user experience, compliance, and organizational performance. 

Pay: $90,000 - $110,000 Annually
Shift: Full-Time, Salaried

Apply today and make a difference where it matters most!  Responsibilities The following duties are normal for this position.  These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive.  Other duties may be required and assigned.  

• Be the subject matter expert on internal EOSIS EHR platforms and adjacent reporting systems  
• Collaborate on the configuration, maintenance and enhancement of EOSIS platforms including dashboards, forms, clinical documentation, treatment plans, patient consistent and related system components   
• Monitor system for performance and proactively identify, report and coordinate resolution of system issues and errors.  
• Partner with subject matter experts to identify opportunities for improvement in clinical workflows and processes  
• Serve as the primary point of contact for EHR related technical issues, providing timely troubleshooting and support for clinical and administrative users.  
• Support routine maintenance and enhancement of internal forms and workflows.  
• Manage the full user account lifecycle, including provisioning, modification, and deactivation of access during onboarding, role changes, and offboarding  
• Assign and manage role‑based permissions to ensure users have appropriate access to systems and data required for their responsibilities.  
• Support and ensure compliance with HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and other applicable healthcare regulations through system controls, monitoring, and adherence to organizational policies.  
• Partner with compliance leadership and clinical stakeholders to ensure EHR configuration and usage align with regulatory and documentation requirements.  
• Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to address complex technical issues, including hardware or network related impacts on EHR performance.  
• Design and deliver role appropriate training for new staff onboarding and for the introduction of new system features, updates, or workflow changes.  
• Develop and maintain user guides, FAQs, and reference materials to reinforce best practices and promote confident system usage.  
• Work closely with the Vice President of Operations to design, develop, and maintain standard and custom reports supporting clinical, operational, and compliance needs.  
• Automate routine reporting processes where it is feasible to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.  

Required Skills REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS  
Education:  

• Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience in Health Information Management, Computer Science, healthcare, or related field   

Experience:  

• 2-5 Years of experience in healthcare operations, health informatics, electronic health record administration, strategy consulting, corporate strategy, innovation, business development, or corporate development   
• An additional four (4) years of directly related experience in healthcare informatics, electronic health record administration, clinical information systems, healthcare technology, data analytics, or healthcare operations may substitute for the required bachelor's degree. Candidates must possess a minimum of six (6) years of cumulative related professional experience. 

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:  

• Experience in SQL/WebFOCUS or other BI tool for querying data and for data manipulation/transformation
• Strong analytic skills with the ability to extract, collect, organize, analyze and interpret results for insights   
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills  

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS  

• 1 year clinical healthcare experience and/or 1 year of informatics-related experience with in a healthcare system.    
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to train users and develop clear documentation.   
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into accessible language for non technical audiences.   
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing priorities and respond effectively to high impact issues.   
• Self directed, adaptable, and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast paced environment.

• Criminal Background Check: Nationwide, federal, state, and multi-county (up to 7 years) 
• Drug and Alcohol Testing: Must pass pre-employment screening; subject to random and post-incident testing if in a safety-sensitive role

• Work is performed across multiple EOSIS treatment sites or intake settings 
• Fast-paced healthcare environment with varying program structures 
• Frequent interaction with clients experiencing substance use and mental health challenges 
• Requires flexibility to support multiple programs, locations, and changing priorities
