Job Summary and Responsibilities

As our RN, you will assume responsibility for facilitating, communicating, and collaborating with the healthcare team and patient/family to meet the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of the patient, advancing modern nursing through compassionate care.

• Assess patient’s physical, psychosocial, cultural, and spiritual needs through observation, interview, review of medical records & clinical data.

• Evaluates patient’s response and intervenes to ensure optimal patient outcome.

• Develop and implement patient plan of care and observe outcomes in accordance with nursing standards and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team.

• Demonstrate competency in a variety of therapeutic/diagnostic interventions including, but not limited to, IV’s, incision/wound care, medication administration, catheterization, and specimen collections.

• Thorough and confidential maintenance of patient charts and records.

• Document ongoing status, interventions, patient response and outcomes in an accurate, timely manner.

We are offering a $20,000 Sign on bonus in addition up to $10,000 relocation assistance to new hires who meet the eligibility requirements.

Schedule- 24 hrs/Week- Days- 2 x 12hrs-Variable days of the week and shift start times per unit needs- TBD during interview with Manager

Call Required-1 shift during the week (11p-730a) and one day during the weekend (7p-7a) per month

Job Requirements

Required

• Associates Degree in Nursing; Nursing Diploma or by endorsement

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing required for new graduates, preferred for experienced RNs

• RN License required; Current state nursing licenses or valid RN license from a participating state in the National Licensure Compact

Preferred

• Previous PACU experience or strong clinical background

• Previous PACU/ICU/ED experience

• One year of Nursing experience

• Bachelors Degree in Nursing

Where You'll Work

As Registered Nurse at St Anthony Hospital you will provide comprehensive care within the surgical services department, which includes 17 OR suites, 12 PACU bays, and 36 pre-op beds. You will work in a team of 3–4 RNs per shift, with the expectation to float between pre-op and PACU to manage an average volume of 30+ cases per day. Responsibilities include the full scope of patient care: performing pre-op calls and Pre-Admission Testing (PATs), facilitating patient transports, and managing clinical recovery. You will be responsible for recovering both Phase I and Phase II patients within the same unit, ensuring consistent coverage throughout the perioperative process. Occasionally, you may also assist with recoveries from other departments as needed.

Pay Range

$33.15 - $59.67 /hour
