Outside Sales Manager

Company Description

Texas Internal Pipe Coating (TXIPC) is seeking an experienced and results-driven Outside Sales Manager to lead business development efforts across domestic and international markets. This full-time leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding TXIPC’s presence within the oil & gas, pipeline, energy, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies aligned with TXIPC’s commercial growth objectives
• Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities within oil & gas, pipeline, energy, and industrial markets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, contractors, operators, and key industry stakeholders
• Manage and grow existing customer accounts while expanding into new markets and territories
• Lead customer meetings, presentations, and commercial discussions
• Coordinate with TXIPC Operations, QA/QC, Production, and Management teams to ensure accurate project scope, pricing, scheduling, and customer expectations
• Oversee the RFQ and quotation process, including pricing strategy and commercial review
• Support contract negotiations and commercial agreement discussions
• Maintain and manage an active sales pipeline, forecasts, and sales reporting metrics
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer demand to identify strategic growth opportunities
• Represent TXIPC at industry events, trade shows, conferences, and networking functions
• Assist in resolving customer concerns related to quality, scheduling, or project execution
• Maintain accurate documentation of customer interactions, opportunities, and commercial activity
• Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies and applicable trade and compliance requirements
• Uphold TXIPC’s reputation for professionalism, safety, quality, and technical integrity

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial, oil & gas, pipeline, manufacturing, or coating-related sales
• Previous experience in a sales leadership or account management role preferred
• Existing relationships within energy, pipeline, EPC, or infrastructure markets strongly preferred
• Strong understanding of commercial sales processes and customer relationship management
• Excellent communication, negotiation, presentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to travel as needed for customer meetings and industry events
• Self-motivated with strong leadership and relationship-building abilities

This is a hybrid remote position requiring periodic travel for customer meetings, industry events, onsite collaboration, and business development activities as needed.
