Little Marvels Pediatric Dentistry was founded by Dr. Dexter Yee and Dr. Jeffrey Sue in 2024. With over 30 years of combined clinical experience in the Sacramento area, we are thrilled to bring our expertise and passion for pediatric dentistry to our community.

Our goal at Little Marvels is to create a warm, welcoming environment where children feel comfortable and cared for during their dental visits.

We are looking for a fun, enthusiastic, and growth minded individual who shares our love working with children. This is initially a part time position that has the potential to grow into a full time position in the future as the practice grows. We are seeking a motivated dental assistant who wants to obtain their RDA in the future and is interested in learning about the front desk. We are willing to support, train, and mentor for the right individual. Compensation depends on experience.

Job duties include:

• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and tray setups for dental procedures
• Greet patients by name and prepare them for treatment with a friendly, service-centered disposition
• Take radiographs, panoramic pictures once xray license obtained.
• Maintain professional office environment
• Documentation and patient charting
• Maintain and renew certifications/trainings as required by office protocol as well as required by state/ federal laws and regulations
• Foster environment of positivity, teamwork, and support amongst staff
• Review cases with dentists and assistants
• Assist with other duties as directed by management and doctors
• Answer phones
• Patient scheduling
• Insurance verification
• Patient check in and check out
• Taking patient payment

Minimum Requirements:

• A strong desire to learn about both the front office as well as the back office.

Physical Abilities Required

• Detailed work using arms, hands, and fingers to handle and feel objects worked with
• Intermittently required to sit, stand, walk, stoop, bend and reach throughout the day
• Lift up to 25 pounds
• Hear people on the phone and in person in order to communicate information effectively
• Reach above the shoulder level, bend, squat, sit, stand, stoop, crouch, reach, kneel, twist, and turn

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
