DSV – Global transport and logistics Location: USA – New Albany, 1101 Beech Rd Division: Solutions Job Posting Title: Data Center Team Lead – 6‑S E‑Shift Thu‑Fr 10:00pm‑6:30am Sat‑Sun 6:00pm‑6:30am Time Type: Full Time Responsibilities Oversee loading and unloading of inbound and outbound freight to and from vehicles and containers, including the management of shipping documents and records. Perform quality checks on inbound and outbound freight, verifying accurate part numbers, quantities, and condition of material. Execute daily inventory cycle counts and place replenishment orders for critical spare parts onsite at the datacenter. Process return shipments of electronic components using multiple warehouse management systems. Oversee and perform placement of server racks on the datacenter floor using laser measuring devices with 100 % accuracy. Assemble and install electronic components, installing cabling into server racks following provided diagrams and schematics. Install rack hardware using hand, power, and measuring tools. Operate material handling equipment such as straddle stackers, rack movers, and electric pallet jacks. Perform cleanup activities to maintain safety, cleanliness, and adherence to 5S standards. Push, pull, and lift equipment frequently throughout the workday. Deliverables & Achievements Daily adherence to safety and process procedures. Punctuality and reliability. Attention to detail and a focus on quality. Flexibility and cross‑training in multiple departments within the datacenter. Effective delegation and coaching skills. Skills & Qualifications Strong interpersonal and customer‑service skills, with frequent interaction with customers and stakeholders onsite. Critical thinking and analytical skills for confident decision‑making based on information and data. Experience with computers – 3 to 5 years of related experience required. Knowledge of electrical safety, static‑discharge hazards, and protocols for handling live electrical and electronic equipment. Ability to perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation. Must pass background checks, clearances, and drug/alcohol tests as required by federal, state, or local law. Compensation Base pay range: $27.00 – $27.00 per hour, adjusted for experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
