Unlike many dealership technician positions, this role focuses heavily on used vehicle reconditioning, internal work, and customer-pay opportunities. Warranty work is limited primarily to recalls and supplemental opportunities not the primary source of income.

Compensation

• Annual earning potential of $40,000$100,000+ depending on productivity and experience
• Flat-rate compensation structure
• Sign-on bonus available for the right candidate
• Relocation and toolbox moving assistance may be available

Responsibilities

• Perform used vehicle inspections and reconditioning repairs
• Diagnose and repair mechanical concerns efficiently
• Complete maintenance and repair work according to dealership standards
• Perform recall repairs as needed
• Maintain organized and professional work areas
• Communicate effectively with advisors and management
• Ensure vehicles are properly prepared for retail delivery

Requirements

• Previous automotive technician experience preferred
• Dealership or large independent shop experience highly valued
• Strong mechanical aptitude and diagnostic ability
• Valid driver's license and good driving record required
