Litigation Paralegal

McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A. (MVP Law) is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join our Kansas City, Kansas office to support active practice and enable attorneys to focus on client work. Key responsibilities include: Roles and Responsibilities Responsible for all billable tasks: medical records, discovery, etc. Drafts various legal documents for attorney review Requests, follows‑up on, and organizes medical record files E‑File documents within appropriate court filing systems (Kansas City) Manages and organizes case files Researches and analyzes case data Drafts discovery Communicates with outside counsel, physicians, court personnel and other experts Bills time contemporaneously Assists attorneys with case‑related requests Responds to record and legal documentation requests Answers phone calls, takes messages or transfers calls to appropriate parties Works with highly confidential information and always maintains utmost confidentiality Acts in a stewardship capacity for MVP, working as a genuine, confident, functional member of the team aligned with core values Other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications 2‑ or 4‑year degree with a minimum of 5 years of recent experience in a paralegal role within civil litigation/tort practice Superb communication and customer‑service skills – both written and verbal Microsoft Office proficiency Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple high‑priority tasks Excellent time‑management skills Benefits Competitive salaries and production bonuses Full‑time benefits plan including Medical, Dental, Vision, Voluntary Life and AD&D, HSA plan, and day‑one 401(k) eligibility Generous 401(k) employer match Profit‑Sharing Plan Employer‑paid HSA contributions Telemedicine access Group Life and AD&D coverage Short‑ and Long‑Term Disability coverage Mental Health Support program #J-18808-Ljbffr McAnany, Van Cleave & Phillips, P.A.
