Job Title: Quality Assurance Technician

Job Description

Join our team as a Quality Assurance Technician. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our products in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical tests and visual inspections, including taking precise measurements with a ruler.
• Conduct color matching and leak tests to ensure product quality.
• Perform tensile testing and ensure packaging print is correctly located using a ruler.
• Identify and communicate any defects to the team promptly.
• Accurately document tests conducted and defects found.

Essential Skills

• Experience with GMP, laboratory procedures, and quality inspection.
• Strong attention to detail and quality control.
• Proficiency in quality assurance documentation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Good documentation skills for outputs from production machines.
• Ability to see colors for accurate color matching.
• Previous manufacturing experience is advantageous but not required.
• A degree or relevant manufacturing experience is beneficial.

Work Environment

Work in a laboratory setting with exposure to manufacturing. The environment is fast-paced and friendly, with a collaborative team of other Quality Assurance Technicians. The role involves walking and being on your feet throughout the day, with frequent trips to the manufacturing floor.You will be part of an ISO 9001 environment, ensuring high standards of quality and safety.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Addison, IL.

The pay range for this position is $22.05 - $22.05/hr.
