Logistics Associate

Support the day-to-day transportation operations, including shipment planning, load consolidation, and the import/export process. Provide customer support for Lineage Transportation Team.KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESPlan and coordinate multiple orders across several customers dailySet pick up/delivery appointments based on service and schedule requirementsInterface with customer base to facilitate problem resolution and improvement opportunitiesEnsure carrier/customer accessorial costs are communicated timelyMonitor carrier performance and recommend routing changes as requiredEvaluate carrier alternatives and tender freight based on cost/service requirementsMaximize profit margins while meeting customer requirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)High School diploma or GED2 years' shipping or transportation coordination environment experience or relevant certificationThorough knowledge of shipping and transportation operations and familiarity with import and export processesExperience with transportation management softwareProficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact with internal and external customersExcellent organizational skills, including the ability to multi-task and prioritize workloadExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailWhy Lineage?This is an excellent position to begin your career path within Lineage!
