Role Description The Fuel Transport Driver is a full-time, on-site role located in New Hampshire, United States. This position is responsible for safely operating fuel transport trucks to deliver petroleum products to retail locations and commercial customers within Northern New England and, as needed, to other regions in the United States and Canada. Daily responsibilities include loading and unloading fuel, following all safety protocols and regulatory requirements, completing delivery documentation, and performing routine pre- and post-trip inspections of the vehicle. The driver maintains clear communication with dispatch and customers, adheres to schedules, and represents P&L Cote in a professional manner. The role also involves monitoring product quantities, reporting any issues or incidents promptly, and supporting a culture of safety and reliability on every trip. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Truck Driving skills and experience operating fuel transport or similar heavy-duty trucks. Candidates should possess a valid CDL Class A license with appropriate endorsements for transporting hazardous materials, or be willing to obtain them. Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, team members, and customers. Candidates should possess Customer Service skills to provide courteous, professional interactions and support long-term relationships. Candidates should possess a solid understanding of DOT regulations, safety procedures, and best practices for fuel handling and transport. Clean driving record and ability to pass required background checks and drug/alcohol screenings. Ability to perform basic vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting, including monitoring truck and equipment condition. Physical ability to climb, lift, bend, and work in varying weather conditions while loading and unloading fuel. Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including nights or weekends as needed.
