Travel Ultrasound Technologist in Miami Beach, FL

A highly skilled ultrasound imaging professional is needed to provide expert diagnostic services focusing on maternal-fetal medicine (MFM) at multiple clinics. This travel position requires advanced knowledge of fetal anatomy across all trimesters, proficiency with Doppler ultrasound techniques, and the ability to perform complex diagnostic procedures with minimal supervision.


Key Responsibilities:

• Review patient requisitions to determine appropriate ultrasound exams and collaborate with medical staff or MFM physicians for clarification as needed
• Perform and interpret detailed ultrasounds including fetal anatomy evaluations, Doppler studies (umbilical artery, middle cerebral artery, ductus venosus), and diagnostic transvaginal ultrasounds
• Assess multiple gestations including evaluation of chronicity and amnionicity
• Assist with diagnostic procedures such as chorionic villus sampling (CVS), amniocentesis, and percutaneous umbilical blood sampling (PUBS)
• Utilize Voluson Expert 22 BT24 USA ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images, including 3D imaging when applicable
• Adapt to working in a fast-paced, high-complexity environment, demonstrating critical thinking, decisive judgment, and effective communication
• Travel reliably between clinic locations within the assigned area

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Proven experience in general ultrasound imaging with a specialized focus on maternal-fetal medicine
• Strong understanding of fetal abnormalities and investigative ultrasound techniques
• Ability to independently manage complex cases and make appropriate next-step decisions
• Competence with Doppler ultrasound procedures and interpretation
• Experience using Voluson ultrasound systems, especially Voluson Expert 22 BT24 USA
• Flexibility to work variable shifts and travel between sites
