They ensure the safety, functionality, and cleanliness of equipment and facilities, directly impacting member experience and operational success. You'll handle preventive maintenance, perform repairs on fitness equipment, and collaborate with your facilities team and across departments.Maintain cross-departmental communication to remain up-to-date on repair and replacement needs in customer-facing spaces and facility infrastructureWork within a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to manage work orders for both in-house duties and outsourced contractor servicesCoordinate outsourced projects by reviewing pricing and approving contracted jobsInspect and perform preventive maintenance, identifying repair and service needs and prioritize the most critical repairs to minimize disruptions to members wherever possibleAssist in performing repairs and maintenance of equipment and maintain the Maintenance LogMaintain an overview of inventory counts and order new equipment and supplies as neededTravel within the market to participate in training sessions, department meetings, and provide support, as neededChuze Kindness while completing assignments on the gym floor or other member-facing areasComplete administrative tasks promptly, including email management and communicationYour Perks:Free Chuze Fitness membershipAccrued time off and paid holidays401kMedical, Dental, Vision, and other supplemental insurance (with large employer contribution)Health Savings Account (HSA) with employer contributionsFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Discounts on all Chuze retail and Chuze Blends purchasesChuzer Referral Incentive ProgramPersonal device stipend and Chuze-provided technologyEngaging and dynamic work environment with growth opportunitiesYour Skills:Requirements:High school graduate or equivalent2+ years of experience in a mechanical, electrical, or plumbing (MEP) trade or related rolePrevious experience working with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)Proficient mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and maintain fitness facility equipment and systemsExcellent analytical problem-solvingStrong attention to detail and multitasking skillsTeam-based mentality with the capacity to receive and deliver feedbackExcellent communication, time management, and organizational skillsMust have valid driver's license, reliable transportation, with regular ability to visit clubs across the assigned district (subject to ADA accommodation)Preferences:Previous experience working with a Building Management System (BMS)/Environmental Monitoring System (EMS) control systemsTechnical school graduate or attendeePhysical Abilities:Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly in EnglishAbility to walk, bend, kneel, reach, and perform repetitive arm and hand movementsAbility to stand for extended periodsAbility to operate a telephone, computer, and other standard office equipmentAbility to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds independently and heavier loads with assistance when neededAbility to work in a loud environment, regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, pool chemicals, cleaning supplies, and grease/oilDue to the nature of this role, the selected candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record.Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
