Make a difference in students’ lives by providing speech-language services in an engaging educational setting. This contract opportunity is ideal for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist who is motivated to support learning, communication, and overall student development.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders
- Valid state licensure or eligibility in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong Clinical Fellows are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working with children or in a school environment is highly valued
- Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations for students with a variety of speech and language needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in line with best practices and district requirements
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language therapy services to students from diverse backgrounds
- Maintain accurate therapy records, progress reports, and required documentation
- Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support students’ success in the classroom
- Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide input on accommodations and strategies to maximize student participation and achievement
