As a result, a full-time position is available for a highly motivated individual to join our Building Engineering group as a Senior Electrical Engineer. This opportunity is available as a hybrid role out of the Denver, CO or Madison, WI office location.Responsibilities Include:DesigningLow and medium voltage power systemsLighting systems and associated controlsFire alarm and mass notification systemsPreparing construction plans and specifications of electrical systemsDeveloping probable construction costsProviding construction administration and site visitsMentoring less experienced staffA valid driver's license and some travel will be required.The Successful Candidate Will Have All The Following:Bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering from an accredited college or universityAt least 8 years of relevant electrical experiencePE license in any state with the ability to obtain in other statesThe Ideal Candidate Will Have Any/All Of The Following:Designing low and medium voltage power, lighting systems and controls, fire alarm and detection systemsPreparing construction document drawings using RevitDesigning electrical systems using power design (EasyPower preferred)Using lighting calculations software (AGI32 preferred)Coordinating the preparation of construction document drawings and specificationsProviding construction administration services and site visits related to electrical systemsMentoring less experienced engineers and designersWhy Mead & Hunt?At Mead & Hunt, we're not just offering a job—we're inviting you to be part of a legacy.
