University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Care Assistants in Canton, MI. This role involves providing in-home care to clients, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being while promoting their independence. Responsibilities

Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation
Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
Help with light housekeeping and maintaining a clean living environment
Escort clients to appointments and run errands as needed
Monitor client health and report any changes or concerns to healthcare professionals
Adhere to all company policies and protocols to ensure quality care and client safety

Requirements

Previous experience in home care or related healthcare field preferred
Ability to communicate effectively and show empathy
Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Canton, MI
Flexibility to work varying shifts as needed
Background check
