Clinical Manager Home Infusion Pharmacy

Inova Health Pharmacy is seeking a dedicated Clinical Manager Home Infusion Pharmacy to join the team. This role will be full-time varied shifts.

Manager Pharmacy Job Responsibilities:

• Oversees assigned area in Pharmacy to ensure it is performing effectively, which may include but not limited to, hiring and training team members, creating and implementing business strategies, managing performance of team members, and delegating tasks.
• Oversees the delivery of safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication therapies in alignment with organizational protocols.
• Provides staff counseling and initiates discipline when necessary.
• Participates in committees and ensures patient safety through review of processes in assigned areas.
• Serves as a preceptor for the pharmacy clerkship and other educational activities.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Education: Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or bachelor's degree.
• Experience: Five (5) years' experience as Pharmacist.
• Licensure: Registered Pharmacist in Virginia.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) within 3 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience: Home infusion and leadership experience.
