Project Manager – Interior Tenant Improvements & Buildouts (Retail & Restaurant)Location: Houston, TX Company Type: General ContractorWe are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee interior tenant improvement and buildout projects, with a focus on retail and restaurant environments. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented construction professional who thrives in fast-paced settings and can manage multiple projects from preconstruction through closeout.Key Responsibilities:Manage all phases of interior construction projects, including tenant improvements and buildoutsOversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and executionCoordinate with clients, architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendorsReview drawings, specifications, and contracts to ensure project alignmentTrack project costs, manage change orders, and maintain financial controlsEnsure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and quality standardsLead project meetings and provide regular updates to stakeholdersIdentify and resolve project risks, delays, and field issues proactivelyManage procurement of materials and subcontractor scopesQualifications:5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in commercial constructionStrong background in interior tenant improvements, specifically retail and/or restaurant projectsProven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslySolid understanding of construction processes, scheduling, and cost controlProficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project, or similar)Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret construction documents and plansPreferred Qualifications:Experience working in secure or high-compliance environments (e.g., transportation hubs, healthcare, or similar settings)OSHA certification or strong knowledge of safety standardsDegree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred but not required)What's Offered:Competitive salary based on experienceBenefits package (health, dental, vision, etc.)Opportunity to work on high-visibility, fast-paced commercial projectsGrowth potential within a dynamic and expanding general contractor
