Job Description
This role focuses on electrical installation work for a large, 15,000-square-foot residential project in East Hampton. You will install and run various types of cable, set and secure electrical boxes, install outlets and switches, and bend and install conduit while working extended shifts with significant overtime opportunities.
Responsibilities

• Install and run NM (Romex) and MC cable throughout a large residential property.
• Set, secure, and properly align electrical boxes in accordance with project specifications and electrical codes.
• Install outlets, switches, and related electrical devices with a high level of accuracy and workmanship.
• Bend and install conduit, including EMT and rigid conduit, to support and protect wiring systems.
• Interpret and work from electrical blueprints and drawings to complete installations correctly and efficiently.
• Pull and route wire safely and neatly through conduits and other pathways.
• Apply mechanic-level electrical experience to troubleshoot issues and ensure high-quality installations.
• Follow safety protocols and utilize OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 training to maintain a safe worksite.
• Use and maintain personal tools and equipment in good working order.
• Collaborate with other electricians and trades on-site to complete project milestones on schedule.

Essential Skills

• Mechanic-level electrical experience on residential projects.
• Proficiency installing and running NM (Romex) and MC cable.
• Ability to set and secure electrical boxes accurately and safely.
• Experience installing outlets, switches, and related electrical devices.
• Skilled in bending and installing EMT and rigid conduit.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints.
• Experience pulling wire through conduits and other pathways.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 safety certification.
• Ability to work 12-hour days and be open to working Saturdays.
• Ownership of appropriate electrical tools for daily work.

Work Environment
This role is based on a large, 15,000-square-foot residential project in East Hampton that will remain very active throughout the summer. The schedule typically consists of 12-hour workdays with plenty of overtime and regular Saturday work, so you should be comfortable with extended shifts and a physically demanding environment. You will work on an active construction site using electrical tools and equipment, installing cable, conduit, and devices in various interior and exterior areas of the property. A professional appearance is expected on-site, and you will need to bring and use your own tools while adhering to all safety and site requirements.

This is a Contract position based out of East Hampton, NY.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $40.00/hr.
