Maintenance Manager | Newaygo, MI

Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We collaborate with manufacturing companies in the Newaygo region seeking Maintenance Managers. These employers partner with us because they want real insight into candidates-not just resumes. By joining our network, you gain access to roles worth considering.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all manufacturing equipment.
• Lead and mentor a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Manage the departmental budget, including spare parts inventory and external service contracts.
• Oversee the scheduling and execution of all corrective and routine maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, environmental standards, and company policies.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance and reliability.
• Implement and manage a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related technical field.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in maintenance leadership within a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in CMMS software implementation and optimization.
• Proven ability to develop and manage maintenance budgets and capital expenditure projects.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and their application to maintenance operations.

Bonus Qualifications

• CMRP certification
• Experience with CMMS implementation or optimization
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or higher certification
• Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
• Bilingual in Spanish
