About the Organization Community Living Alternatives (CLA) Corp is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit charitable organization founded in 1987 that provides residential support services to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities in Northern Virginia. Position: Direct Support Professional CLA seeks a Direct Support Professional (Joy Giver) to deliver individualized supports across group homes, apartments, and community settings, helping residents remain safe, acquire life‑skills, and experience joy in daily activities. Description Rate of Pay : $19.00 plus a $1 weekend differential rate from Saturday 8:00 a.m. to Sunday 11:00 p.m. Schedule : Sunday 10:00 a.m.–11:00 p.m.; Monday 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; Tuesday 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; Wednesday 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. The Direct Support Professional collaborates with each individual to build meaningful relationships, ensuring safety, skill development, and joyful experiences throughout the day.
