Marketing And Business Development Coordinator

Consilio's Direct Hire Division is partnering with an Am Law-ranked law firm to identify a Business Development Coordinator to support strategic marketing and client development initiatives. This opportunity is ideal for a professional with experience in legal, consulting, accounting, or other professional services environments who enjoys managing projects, supporting client growth efforts, and collaborating across multiple teams. The Business Development Coordinator will play a key role in supporting business development and marketing activities across the firm's West Coast offices, with significant involvement in the Intellectual Property practice. This individual will assist with client-facing events, pitch and proposal development, market research, directory submissions, and various initiatives designed to enhance the firm's visibility and strengthen client relationships. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Marketing Support the preparation of pitches, proposals, RFP responses, capability statements, and client presentations. Conduct market, industry, competitor, and prospective client research to inform growth strategies. Assist with legal directory and rankings submissions, including Chambers and Legal 500. Coordinate targeted marketing campaigns, client alerts, and thought leadership distribution. Maintain and update business development resources, experience databases, and practice-group collateral. Track representative matters and attorney credentials for future marketing and client development opportunities. Events & Client Engagement Coordinate seminars, webinars, sponsorships, speaking engagements, client receptions, and business development events. Manage event logistics, including vendor coordination, invitations, registration, materials, and onsite support. Maintain attendee and mailing lists within the firm's CRM platform. Partner with attorneys and business development leadership to maximize client engagement opportunities. Work closely with attorneys, marketing professionals, communications teams, and other firm resources to execute strategic initiatives. Monitor project timelines and provide status updates to business development leadership. Assist with reporting and performance tracking for marketing and business development activities. Contribute to special projects and departmental initiatives as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. Minimum of 2 years of business development, marketing, or client development experience within a law firm or other professional services organization. Experience supporting proposals, presentations, or client-facing materials. Familiarity with intellectual property practices is preferred but not required. Strong written and verbal communication skills. High attention to detail with excellent organizational and project management abilities. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Experience with CRM and document management systems preferred. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Comfortable working independently while collaborating with professionals across all levels of an organization.
