Estimator/Project Manager

Heimes Corporation is seeking an Estimator/Project Manager to help bid, manage, and coordinate construction projects from start to finish. Based in Omaha, Nebraska, Heimes Corporation provides excavation, underground utilities, recycled concrete, plumbing, directional drilling, fiber splicing, underground storage tanks, wrecking, transportation, hydro-excavation, and hazardous materials cleanup and hauling. Job Functions: Project takeoffs: Perform initial site takeoffs, and look over plans and specifications Job Bidding: Analyze project scopes, plans, reports and construct accurate cost estimates, coordinate with any suppliers & subs for quotes Site Walkthroughs: Attend pre-bid meetings and evaluate field sites Project Management: Coordinate schedules with general contractors, subs, & our self-performed superintendents Material Management: Order site materials and delivery Change Orders: Track project variations, record and submit documentation Client Relations: Help maintain relationships with existing corporate customers and build new business relationships Qualification Requirements: Education/Experience: Degree in Construction Management or relevant field experience Plan Proficiency: Ability to accurately read plans and specifications Tech Capabilities: Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook) Software Preferred: Experience in AGTEK Gradework is highly beneficial.
