Project Manager - Commercial Construction

Commercial Construction Project ManagerWe are seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Project Manager to oversee projects for a well-established general contractor serving the Greater Boston area and throughout New England. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through final closeout while ensuring they are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.The ideal candidate has a proven background delivering commercial construction projects, excels at coordinating field and office operations, and is comfortable managing multiple projects while building strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, architects, and project stakeholders.ResponsibilitiesManage commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final completion and closeout.Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, cost forecasts, and execution strategies.Monitor project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, cost control, subcontractor management, billing, and change order administration.Lead subcontractor buyout, contract administration, and ongoing coordination throughout the project lifecycle.Review construction drawings, specifications, contracts, RFIs, submittals, and other project documentation to ensure successful execution.Coordinate with Superintendents, subcontractors, architects, engineers, owners, consultants, and field personnel to keep projects progressing on schedule.Lead project meetings and provide regular progress updates to clients, project stakeholders, and company leadership.Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining quality, safety, schedule, and contract compliance.Oversee procurement of materials and long-lead items to support project schedules.Manage project closeout, including punch lists, turnover documentation, warranties, and final completion.Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design professionals, subcontractors, and project partners to support successful project delivery.
