Registered Nurse Telemetry

Schedule - Weekend coverage: Typically every other weekend; travelers fill gaps (approx. 6 weekend shifts per contract)

Requirements - Minimum 2 years RN experience - Prior travel experience required - Licensure: GA or Compact RN license required - Required certifications: BLS, ACLS - Experience managing continuous IV infusions, including: - Cardiac drips: Amiodarone, Cardizem, Dobutamine, Dopamine, Milrinone, Nitroglycerin - Diuretics: Bumex, Lasix - Anticoagulants: Aggrastat, Argatroban, Heparin - Insulin drips - Experience with cardiac telemetry and arrhythmia recognition/management - Familiarity with DKA, anticoagulation protocols, diuretics - Charting system: Epic preferred

Roles & Responsibilities - Monitor patients in a telemetry setting, assessing changes in their condition - Manage and administer IV medications and perform critical clinical procedures - Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care - Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and care processes - Participate in rapid response situations as needed

Compliance / Notes - Orientation: 36 hours (non-billable orientation hours vary by contract) - Compliance documents due the Tuesday before start - COVID-19 vaccine: Not required
