Home Infusion RN - $72K-117K per year

Job Title Home Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) Location & Schedule Valley Park, Missouri. Full‑time, 40 hours per week, primarily 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. Weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotations as required. Regular local travel throughout the BJC Home Care service area, including visits to patient homes, infusion suites, and other BJC Home Care locations, typically within the assigned region. Mileage reimbursement is provided for eligible business travel in accordance with IRS guidelines. Role Purpose Evaluates the client and furnishes services requiring substantial and specialized skill, appropriate preventive and rehabilitative nursing procedures, and instructions to assist the client in learning appropriate self‑care techniques. When assigned as case manager, the staff nurse is responsible for coordinating all aspects of care related to that patient. Responsibilities Assess patient preferences and barriers to involvement in care, including their values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with interprofessional team members and patient, family, or caregiver in accordance with established guidelines and standards of nursing care. Proactively plan and communicate the plan of care across the continuum of care. Promote respect, equity, and empathy in interactions with diverse and vulnerable populations, supporting emotional, spiritual, and cultural preferences of patient, family, and/or caregivers. Practice collaborative problem solving, service recovery, and advocacy for patient family‑centered continuity of care. Implement care by integrating data from the interprofessional team and critical thinking in a safe and timely manner. Evaluate changes in patient’s condition, inform and collaborate with family and/or caregivers, and communicate with the interprofessional team as changes occur in plan of care, updating the plan of care in the EMR. Evaluate current nursing care to ensure evidence‑based practice and quality patient outcomes. Minimum Requirements Education: Nursing Diploma or Associate’s in Nursing. Experience: Less than 2 years. Supervisor Experience: None. Licenses & Certifications: Valid Driver’s License and RN license. Must register with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry. Preferred Requirements Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Home Health. Experience: 2–5 years.
