BJC HealthCare is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for Home Health Infusion services in SaintLouis, Missouri. Additional Information About the Role Schedule : Full‑time (40hperweek). Day shift 8:00a.m.–4:30p.m., with flexibility for operational and patient care needs. Weekend, holiday, and on‑call rotation as required. Region / Location & Travel Expectations : Regular local travel within the BJC Home Care service area, including visits to patient homes, infusion suites, and other BJC locations. Travel is typically within the assigned region but may vary based on operational demands. Compensation / Travel : Mileage reimbursement for eligible business travel in accordance with IRS guidelines. Other : Must register with the Missouri Family Care Safety Registry. Overview BJC Home Care provides a full range of services, including skilled nursing, home infusion therapy, and specialty programs. The Home Infusion Therapy Department works with physicians, patients, and caregivers to deliver IV medications at home, with 24‑hour on‑call pharmacy and nursing services, patient education, and coordination of supporting services. Responsibilities Assess patient preferences and barriers to care, including values, emotional, spiritual, cultural, and population‑specific needs. Develop, implement, and document individualized plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family/caregiver, ensuring continuity across the continuum of care. Promote respect, equity, and empathy in interactions with diverse and vulnerable populations; support emotional, spiritual, and cultural preferences. Practice collaborative problem‑solving, service recovery, and advocacy for patient and family‑centered continuity of care. Integrate data from the interprofessional team and apply critical thinking to deliver timely, evidence‑based care. Evaluate changes in patient’s condition, inform and collaborate with family/caregivers, and communicate updates to the interprofessional team and EMR. Ensure nursing care adheres to evidence‑based practice and achieves quality patient outcomes. Minimum Requirements Education : Nursing Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Nursing, Supervisor Experience : None required. Licenses & Certifications : Valid Driver’s License, RN. Preferred Requirements Education : Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or Home Health, 2–5years experience.
