Executive Director

Executive Director RCFE Pay Range: $145,000 - $165,000 Located at Ivy Park at Los Gatos, a premier senior living community in Los Gatos, California, managed by Oakmont Management Group (based in Irvine, California). Oakmont is a recognized leader in senior living operating 110+ communities under the Oakmont Senior Living and Ivy Living brands. The Executive Director is responsible for the efficient operations and overall management of the day‑to‑day functions of the Community in accordance with property policies and procedures, current standards, guidelines, and regulations. Responsibilities include hiring, evaluating, coordinating, monitoring performance, scheduling, and supervising staff in accordance with company policy. Key duties also include achieving and maintaining budgeted occupancy, ensuring budgetary compliance, professionally representing the property to the community and the Corporation, and creating a supportive and enjoyable lifestyle for the residents. Qualifications Completion of two (2) years of college and at least three (3) years of experience providing residential care to the elderly, or equivalent education and experience Valid California Residential Care Facility for the Elderly certification or Licensed Nursing Home Executive Director Preferably five (5) years of experience supervising and managing employees Proficient personal computer usage and MS Office (Word, Excel, etc.) Knowledge of or ability to learn assisted living and dementia care theory and practice Capacity to work with seniors and interact patiently with cognitively impaired individuals Flexibility, adaptability, decision‑making in stressful situations, and prioritization of tasks and projects Ability to process information, apply common sense, and follow written or oral instructions Analytical and problem‑solving skills Basic arithmetic and ability to read and understand budgets and financial statements Strong written and verbal communication skills to a wide audience (employees, residents, family members, governmental agencies, public, etc.) Must pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB tests Compliance with COVID‑19 and other communicable disease preventive measures as required (vaccination, screening, PPE, etc.) Benefits Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits Vacation, Personal Day, Sick Pay, Holidays Complimentary Meals Bonus Opportunities Company Paid Life Insurance Team Member Discount Program (LifeMart) 401(k) Savings Plan with Company Match Recognition Programs Student Loan Refinancing Pet Insurance Employee Assistance Program Emergency Financial Assistance With communities across California, Colorado, Hawaii, and Nevada, opportunities for career growth, relocation, and travel are significant.
