Description:
We are seeking a full-time OB/GYN Laborist physician to join a busy and collaborative team.
The role involves providing comprehensive inpatient OB GYN care.
You will manage approximately 80 deliveries monthly in a high-volume environment.
The position requires serving as the primary hospital support for OB GYN patients.
Responsibilities include delivering collaborative care alongside community health care partners and midwives.
You will be expected to perform daily rounding on post-operative and post-partum patients.
The role includes 24-hour in-house coverage for labor delivery, OB/GYN triage, and ER calls as needed.
There is no separate doc call expected, as this is a full-time dedicated hospitalist role.
You will work within a multidisciplinary team including anesthesia, NICU, and midwives.
Support and enhance hospital protocols during the launch of the new coverage model is part of the role.
