Vice President of AdvancementTerrific Vice President of Advancement (VP) position with an education focused nonprofit in Eastern Pennsylvania. The organization partners with school districts to provide support and resources, empowering students to stay in school and achieve in life. This role is ideal for an entrepreneurial fundraising professional looking to take the next step in their career, joining a leadership team and driving growth to advance the organization's mission. The VP will report to the President & CEO, leading strategic and tactical fundraising efforts to grow the organization's approximately $1 million annual fundraising goal. The VP will manage and mentor a team of two.Responsibilities:Provide strategic and tactical leadership to secure donations through diverse funding streams, including individual giving, grants, corporate sponsorships, and eventsManage a portfolio of high-level donors and prospectsDevelop strong relationships with donors and prospects to close annual and multi-year commitmentsDevelop fundraising metricsCreate and implement new fundraising and donor stewardship strategiesIn collaboration with the CEO, serve as a liaison to committees and the Board of DirectorsCollaborate with outside vendors for marketing initiativesManage and mentor a team of twoTravel as needed within the Eastern PA regionQualifications:Approximately 5-7+ years of relevant fundraising experienceExcited to collaborate with internal and external stakeholdersDesire to nurture relationships cross-functionally within the organizationSelf-driven; can set and achieve goals independently, with the support of a teamMission-driven and entrepreneurialWelcoming candidates ready for the next step in their fundraising careerHigh-level of self-accountability for fundraisingAbility to leverage metrics to drive fundraising goalsExperience with a donor CRM and utilizing fundraising data to drive strategyEqual Opportunity Employer.
