Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: ASAP Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse - Night Shift - 13-Week Assignment Schedule This position requires availability for night shifts, specifically from 7 PM to 7 AM, with rotating weekends and holidays. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will embrace the core values of the organization while focusing on patient and employee safety. Responsibilities Conduct nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission. Collaborate with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to identify teaching needs and goals. Provide timely patient status updates for team conferences and ensure accurate documentation of assessments and interventions. Participate in patient rehabilitation programs, utilizing the nursing process to provide direct care. Initiate discharge planning and patient education from the day of admission. Communicate effectively regarding changes in patient status to ensure continuity of care. Provide direction and supervision to ancillary nursing staff, delegating tasks appropriately. Maintain personal and environmental safety in accordance with hospital policies. Contribute positively to unit functioning and participate in team building activities. Actively pursue professional development and self-study. Perform other duties as requested. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure BLS Certification required prior to the first shift. ACLS certification required prior to the first shift (specific to CIRH only). Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience is highly desired. Why ARMStaffing?
