HR Coordinator

As a visible member of our People & Culture Team in our Pleasanton, CA headquarters, you'll build strong partnerships with leaders and employees, support recruiting, onboarding, and employee engagement initiatives across multiple offices, and help shape the culture that makes DAHLIN a great place to work. What You'll Do: Develop relationships with staff and leaders to understand our culture, projects, and talent. Utilize that knowledge in supporting recruiting activities, employee engagement, and employee retention. Post and track open positions/requisitions on company website and various sourcing outlets in accordance with our branding guidelines and established budget. Act as a positive point of contact and brand ambassador, promoting company’s reputation as "best place to work". Screen candidate resumes and job applications in ATS (JazzHR) as directed. Assess applicants’ relevant knowledge, skills, soft skills, experience and aptitudes by comparing qualifications to job requirements. Coordinate the logistics of candidate presentation, scheduling interviews and providing background information to key stakeholders, follow-up feedback and checking references. Monitor and apply HR best practices for process consistency, ensuring recruiting and onboarding is consistently executed so nothing gets dropped. Engage with staff/hiring managers as needed to keep the process moving in a positive, productive manner. Respond to candidates with follow up emails at the end of the recruiting process. Coordinate university/college recruiting program. Develop and update job postings and job descriptions as directed. Coordinate onboarding program; prepare and update new hire material. Coordinate events to facilitate inclusion and engagement. Be available Monday-Friday from 8am-5pm and collaborate with administrative staff across the firm to contribute to a positive and productive work environment. This position is eligible for hybrid work after a period of on-site orientation. What Makes You Successful: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a customer service orientation and ability to build effective partnerships with hiring managers. Strong software and digital media skills. Strong proficiency with Word, Excel & Outlook. Sense of urgency, initiative and positive energy. Excellent attention to detail and demonstrable accuracy, with excellent organization and follow-up skills. Ability to operate independently with minimal supervision, while also working collaboratively with team and within established protocols. Your Qualifications: 2 years’ proven work experience supporting recruiting and hiring activities. Hands-on experience with Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and HR software (HRIS). 2 years' experience in employee engagement, employee experience, or other related HR disciplines preferred. Working knowledge of employment laws and compliance requirements as they relate to recruiting and hiring preferred. Experience in professional services firms preferred. Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States without any restrictions. Please note that visa sponsorship is not offered for this position. Pay range: $24.00 - $36.00/hour depending on qualifications. Placement within this pay range will be determined by factors such as education, qualifications, project complexity and/or experience. The maximum is reserved for candidates who currently meet all job requirements.
