Who you are -HR Generalist You are a dynamic, detail oriented, intuitive person with the ability to develop relationships, build rapport and become a trusted team member. What you'll do The HR Generalist plays an important role in supporting employees, leaders, and day-to-day HR operations in a fast-paced credit union environment. This position is responsible for full-cycle recruiting, onboarding, employee recognition and engagement activities, HR communications, and initiatives that promote consistent, compliant, and people-centered practices. The ideal candidate is approachable, highly organized, collaborative, and comfortable balancing practical HR support with broader organizational priorities. This is a hybrid work environment with three days onsite and two days remote each week. Lead full-cycle recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, offer coordination, and onboarding for positions across the organization. Partner with hiring managers to develop recruitment strategies, define candidate profiles, and ensure efficient and effective hiring processes. Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, social media, employee referrals, networking events, educational institutions, and community partnerships Coordinate and facilitate onboarding activities to ensure a positive and engaging new hire experience. Support employee recognition and engagement programs, including employee events, wellness initiatives, service awards, and recognition activities that reinforce organizational culture and values. Serve as a resource for employees and managers by providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee-related matters. Assist with performance management, employee development, retention initiatives, and workforce planning activities. Support internal communications and HR initiatives that enhance employee engagement, awareness, and organizational connectivity. Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with applicable employment laws, regulations, and organizational policies. Track, analyze, and report recruiting and HR metrics to support data-driven decision-making and continuous process improvement. Represent the Credit Union at job fairs, networking events, community outreach programs, and workforce development initiatives to promote HFCU as an employer of choice. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
