Estimator Construction and Building
Estimator – Heavy Civil/Site Work/Utilities/Agtek Location: Columbia, SC Pay: $90,000 – $120,000 + Annual Bonus Schedule: Full-Time, Monday–Friday
Our client provides comprehensive civil construction services across the Southeast, specializing in site development, grading, utilities, and mining reclamation. Known for their commitment to quality and safety, they foster a tight-knit team culture and invest in the growth and well-being of their employees.
They are looking for you, an experienced Estimator who is ready to take ownership of high-impact projects. This is a direct hire opportunity with strong long-term potential and advancement.
What You Get To Do:
• Estimate civil construction projects ranging from $500K to $10M • Prepare accurate cost breakdowns for labor, equipment, and materials • Read and interpret conceptual and schematic drawings • Identify risks, value engineering options, and constructability concerns • Collaborate with project managers and field teams • Use takeoff/modeling software to support bid preparation
What You Need To Succeed:
• 2+ years of experience in civil construction estimating • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or equivalent • Experience with site work, grading, drainage, and utilities • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Adobe • Familiarity with Agtek, Trimble Business Center, Carlson, or similar software • HCSS or B2W software experience is a plus
