Manufacturing OperatorShift: Multiple shiftsThird Shift, 11pm-7:30am Monday to FridayPay Range: $25.30 - $27.60 HourlySecond shift, Evenings, 3pm to 11:30pm Monday to FridayPay Range: $26.40 - $28.60 HourlyDuration: 12 Months Onsite JobA Day in the LifeYou will support packaging and manufacturing operations by operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting specialized folding and gluing equipment while ensuring compliance with GMP and safety standards.Key Responsibilities Include:Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot folder-gluer and related manufacturing equipmentPerform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment adjustments to ensure optimal performanceMonitor production quality and conduct in-process quality checksRead and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and measurementsFollow and document work according to GMP, SOPs, and safety protocolsAccurately complete production documentation and maintenance recordsSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to safety, quality, and efficiencyCollaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to resolve equipment or process issuesMaintain a clean, safe, and organized work environmentEducationHigh School Diploma or GED requiredPreferred Fields of Study: Technical/MechanicalExperienceMinimum of 1 year of manufacturing or maintenance experiencePreferred ExperienceExperience with industrial equipment maintenance and repair preferredExperience working in GMP-regulated manufacturing environments strongly preferredExperience with folding machines, press operations, or similar specialized equipment is a plusKnowledge, Skills & AbilitiesUnderstanding of preventive maintenance proceduresFamiliarity with GMP, SOPs, and quality control practicesBasic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems preferredStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and interpret technical documentationExcellent attention to detail and documentation accuracyEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAbility to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbsFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as requiredWillingness to handle chemicals and work in an industrial manufacturing environmentPhysical Requirements / Work EnvironmentRegular standing, walking, bending, and liftingAbility to lift and move materials weighing up to 70 lbsWork performed in a manufacturing/industrial environmentValid vision test certification required (renewed every two years)Employee Benefits:At LanceSoft, full time regular employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week or more are entitled to the following benefits:Four options of medical InsuranceDental and Vision Insurance401k ContributionsCritical Illness InsuranceVoluntary Permanent Life InsuranceAccident InsuranceOther Employee PerksAbout LanceSoftLanceSoft is rated as one of the largest staffing firms in the US by SIA.
