Equipment Operator - Night Shift
Location: Bohemia, NY, 11716 | Schedule: 11pm-7:30am, Monday-Friday | Job Type: Contract

About the Role
Join our dynamic manufacturing team as an Equipment Operator and play a vital role in supporting packaging operations on our night shift. Operate and maintain specialized folding and gluing equipment while ensuring the highest standards of safety and quality. Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor folder-gluer and related manufacturing equipment to ensure efficient production flow
- Perform preventive maintenance, minor repairs, and equipment adjustments to maintain optimal machine performance
- Conduct in-process quality checks and ensure all products meet stringent quality standards
- Read and interpret technical documentation, schematics, and measurements for accurate work execution
- Complete and maintain accurate production and maintenance records in compliance with GMP, SOPs, and safety protocols
- Support safety, quality, and efficiency improvement initiatives across the manufacturing floor
- Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and quality teams to promptly resolve equipment or process issues
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times

Required Skills and Experience

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 1 year of manufacturing or maintenance experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical documentation with high attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and accurate documentation abilities
- Physically able to lift and maneuver up to 70 lbs, and work standing, walking, or bending for extended periods

Preferred Skills

- Experience maintaining or operating industrial manufacturing equipment
- Familiarity with GMP-regulated manufacturing environments
- Exposure to folding machines, press operations, or similar specialized equipment
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems, PLCs, and control systems
