About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Billing Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for preparing and processing invoices, ensuring accuracy in billing, and supporting overall accounts receivable functions. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving and collaborating across departments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and issue client invoices in a timely and accurate manner
• Verify billing data, pricing, and supporting documentation
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies and client inquiries
• Maintain accurate billing records and documentation
• Assist with accounts receivable functions including payment posting and reconciliation
• Work closely with internal teams (accounting, operations, sales) to ensure accurate billing
• Support month-end close activities related to billing
• Ensure compliance with company policies and client billing requirements

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar accounting role
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems (ERP experience a plus)
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• High school diploma required; Associates or Bachelors degree preferred

Preferred Experience (Nice to Have)

• Experience with e-billing platforms or client portals
• Industry experience (legal, healthcare, or professional services)
• Exposure to systems such as SAP, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar
