Data ModelerLocation: Spring Texas 77389Job Type: Long Term ContractIndividual contributor & a technical role:Competent or ideally expert knowledge of Idera ERStudio to sustain and expand data, enforce data governance, data modeling best practices & guidelines for conceptual data modelsFamiliarity with design and maintenance of Data Entity Definitions, Entity Relationship Diagrams & Data Flow DiagramsKnowledge or ideally qualified certification in either TOGAF architecture or DAMA CDMPExpected to build familiarity with Client’s data architecture principles, standards and additional data modeling tools including Gra.Fo, TigerGraph, Snowflake, PowerBI, Office Suite & OSDU (Open Subsurface Data Universe)Expected soft skills include good communication skills, organized and proactive nature to complete tasks on timeKey deliverablesProvide sustainment of conceptual data models and technologies in the data management spacePractice data model design principles. Work with Client IT and data architects to develop / evolve the Upstream conceptual data modelPosition as a point of contact between the Business and Client IT to ensure data quality is monitoredAssess business data needs, business process and data flow for data ingestion and curation in Client’s Upstream Data FoundationEnsure processes to monitor data quality of data domains are established for all inflight ‘use cases’Coordinate with the business capability and/or use case to review data quality, data remediation & data complianceKey interfacesTake overall direction from Data Architecture Principal (leading Data Architecture & Modeling Team)
