Job Description The Department of Pathology at the University of Toledo Medical Center (UTMC) is seeking a part‑time, tenure‑track, academic Surgical Pathologist/Cytopathologist. UTMC is a tertiary care center that supports UT College of Medicine programs for medical students, graduate students, and residents in a wide variety of programs. The Department of Pathology has training programs for AP/CP residents, for pathologists’ assistants, and for laboratory technicians. Post type: Faculty – Regular. Job no.: 500928. Location: Health Science Campus College, Toledo, OH. Category: Faculty, Healthcare Positions, Full‑Time. Responsibilities Collaborate in primary clinical responsibilities at UTMC with other anatomic pathologists. Teach residents and medical students; exemplary teaching skills required. Develop a strong publication resume through independent or collaborative research. Provide services Monday through Friday; call every sixth weekend. Minimum Qualifications AP/CP board certified. Completed fellowship in cytopathology with board certification. Eligible for licensure in Ohio. Evidence of excellence in teaching and significant scholarly activity. Minimum of 1 year experience in pathology/cytopathology.
