Key Qualifications:
- Active state licensure or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Prior school-based experience preferred
- Strong understanding of assessment tools, IEP development, and student support strategies
- Ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
- Up-to-date knowledge of counseling and psychological practices relevant to school settings
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations to identify students’ strengths and needs
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling, intervention, and crisis management for students
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to support student success
- Interpret and share assessment results, offering actionable recommendations
- Participate in student support meetings and contribute to positive educational outcomes
- Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all school and district policies
