By employing the nursing process, you will deliver exceptional direct and indirect patient-centered care. You will coordinate patient care by collaborating with an interdisciplinary team. It is essential to communicate the patient's clinical status appropriately, responding swiftly and accurately to any changes in their condition or treatment response. You will demonstrate an understanding of growth and development principles across the lifespan, ensuring age-appropriate care for the patient population served. Additionally, you will advocate for the nursing profession and professional practice through supportive interactions with colleagues. This role reports to the Clinical Nurse Manager.

EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program and current licensure in the State of Connecticut is required.

• Certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support is necessary upon hire or must be obtained during the introductory orientation period, with ongoing clinical competency maintained throughout employment in this role.

COMPETENCIES:

• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English are essential.

• Basic computer proficiency is required.
