Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care for adolescent patients in an inpatient psychiatric setting, including assessment, monitoring, and documentation of clinical status
- Administer prescribed medications, monitor for side effects, and ensure proper medication management per plan of care
- Maintain a safe therapeutic milieu; apply crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques as needed
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop, implement, and document individual treatment goals and interventions
- Participate in rounds, care planning, and family communications; document in the electronic medical record and communicate changes to the treatment team
- Be flexible to float to similar or lower acuity units and support charge nurse responsibilities as assigned

Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required at time of submission; BSN preferred
- Minimum of 1 year inpatient psychiatric experience
- CPR certification required
- Restraint Reduction/de-escalation and crisis intervention experience preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient psychiatric setting with strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to float to related units and to work night shifts, with every other weekend/every other holiday schedule
