Bonus Amount $10,000 Overview Department: Acute Medical - Surgical Shift: Full‑Time, Nights 12 Hour Shift/ Rotating Weekends & Holidays Hospital: Holy Family - LTACH Location: Des Plaines, IL 60016 Responsibilities The Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care within the Medical/Surgical Unit. Is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients. Communicates with physicians about changes in the patient’s clinical condition including cardiac monitoring, results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment. Qualifications Current and valid state RN License. Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintained. Current ACLS certificate within 30 days upon hire and maintained (preferred). Previous Acute Care hospital experience preferred. Ventilator Management experience preferred. A reasonable compensation estimate for this role includes wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, ranging from $35.35 to $53.58 per hour. Exact starting compensation will be determined at the time of selection based on skill set, experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
