About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director for PK/PD and Pharmacometrics. The successful candidate will be a key leader in the research and development of innovative medicines, with a focus on accelerating the drug development process through mechanistic reasoning and quantitative modeling. This role is pivotal in providing scientific leadership to project teams, supporting the selection of the right target, molecule, dose, and patient population, and driving model-based decision-making across the portfolio. The Executive Director will be responsible for leading and supporting the preparation of study protocols, analysis plans, and regulatory documents, as well as mentoring and coaching other scientists. Applicants must have a Ph.D. in a relevant discipline and at least 8 years of experience in PK/PD or clinical pharmacology. The role requires a deep understanding of pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and clinical pharmacology principles, as well as a strong track record of cross-functional collaboration and the ability to communicate complex quantitative concepts effectively. Experience with regulatory interactions is preferred. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic, curious, and collaborative scientist, ready to take on the challenging and rewarding work of shaping the medicines that reach patients.
