Job Opportunity: Licensed Audiologist for Veteran Assessments
Are you a Licensed Audiologist eager to embrace a role focused on assessments? Do you find fulfillment in supporting the Veteran community?
We are seeking an Audiologist to conduct medical evaluations for United States Veterans as part of the VA's disability benefits process. Veterans will submit their claims prior to your assessment, and all relevant medical records will be accessible through a digital portal for your review during the appointment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer the Maryland CNC Test and Puretone Audiometric test.
- Complete a Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) within the computer portal, which serves as essential medical evidence for the VA's decision-making regarding benefits.
- Assess and review an average of 3-6 Veterans daily.
Please note that this role does not involve prescribing medical treatments or devices.
Schedule and Work Environment- Part-Time position, requiring 2-3 days per week.
- In-person assessments, allowing 1 to 1.5 hours per patient.
- No evening, weekend, or on-call duties, and no hearing aid sales involved.
- Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) from an ASHA Accredited institution.
- Current Audiologist license.
- Compliance with the credentialing standards established by the VA.
- Hourly wage ranging from $53 to $60, based on experience.

- Membership for ASHA Learning Pass (CEU).
