Production Operator II (2nd Shift)

Job Description
Please Note this position supports our 2nd Shift. You will be paid a 10% Pay Premium while working the 2nd Shift from 2:30 PM to 1 AM -- 4/10 work week -- Working Monday to Thursday every Friday off.

Training will be on 1st Shift, working 5 AM - 3:30 PM -- 4/10 work week - Working Monday Thursday every Friday off. Once training is complete you will move to the 2 nd Shift.

Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.

Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of production assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences. Lays out and assembles units for production equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as needed. Modifies equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches. Corrects malfunctions by adjusting or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical processor other control procedures.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills

• High School Diploma
• 1 year work experience or equivalent experience

Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills

• Basic hand tools and torque tools
• Word, excel, and other basic computer operations
• Secret clearance

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $41844 - $66952

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
