RN - ER

Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN)This is a 13-week contract position.Shifts are scheduled for evenings from 15:00 to 03:30 or nights from 19:00 to 07:30. Weekend work is required every other weekend.The role involves providing high-quality emergency care to patients in a trauma setting. As an ER RN, you will be responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, especially in managing critical situations.Responsibilities:Proficiently interpret and manage dysrhythmias - certification test required.Administer IV starts, telemetry monitoring, and conscious sedation.Care for patients with a diverse range of diagnoses, including trauma, stroke, and mental health concerns.Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including respiratory services and social services.Utilize Epic for charting and documentation.Participate in interventions and procedural sedation administration.Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:At least 3 years of nursing experience in an Emergency Department, including travel experience.Minimum of 2 years of staff RN experience in an Emergency Department at a Level 3 trauma center or higher (Level 1 or 2 preferred).Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, TNCC (or ATCN), ENPC (or PALS).Experience with ventilated patients and ICP monitoring is preferred.Why ARMStaffing?Health Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, and moreOnboarding Made Easy: We handle physicals, titers, and more so you can focus on careClinical Support: In-house clinical team available to assist and advocate401k Retirement Plan: Eligible after waiting period; 4% match with 5% contributionRecruiter Matching: Get paired with a recruiter based on your location and specialtyExtras: Travel reimbursement, housing allowance, meals, referral bonuses, and moreWe're not the only ones who think ARMStaffing should be your first choice.
