What You'll Do

Depending on the needs of your client, you may:

• Provide companionship and meaningful conversation

• Assist with bathing, grooming, dressing and toileting

• Help with mobility and transfers

• Prepare meals

• Assist with light housekeeping

• Provide medication reminders

• Accompany clients on errands or appointments

• Help maintain a safe and comfortable home environment

• Complete care notes and communicate with the care team

Most importantly, you'll provide the dependable, compassionate support that allows older adults to continue living at home.

What We're Looking For

• A compassionate and dependable attitude

• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license

• Ability to pass required background check and drug screening

• Professional and reliable communication

• Caregiving, home care, assisted living, skilled nursing or senior care experience preferred, but not required

CNA, STNA and HHA applicants are encouraged to apply, but certification is not required for all Care Professional positions.

You do not need to be an STNA or CNA to become a Care Professional with Home Instead. Previous caregiving or senior care experience is preferred, and we provide paid training and ongoing support to help you feel confident in your role.
